SEG Qualifying for EG Boys’ County Finals
The South East Group qualifier for the EG Boys’ County Finals was held at Clandon Regis Golf Club on Thursday 3rd July 2025.
The course was presented in excellent condition. The weather was good and good scoring followed. Aaron Moody (Surrey) and Harry Cox (Hertfordshire) both had course record rounds of 65. Louie Bloxham (Hertfordshire) had the best individual score with 68 and 66.
The championship is played by teams of six players with the best five scores from each round making up the team score. Hertfordshire led the field after the first round, with Essex and Surrey in joint second place, ten strokes behind. The Hertfordshire players continued to dominate in the afternoon and ran out winners by 12 strokes over Essex.
