Having each won their respective leagues in the summer, teams of eight young men (under 18s) from Bedfordshire, BB&O and Surrey assembled at Harleyford GC for the final of the SEG U18 League on 21st September.Â
In a most unlikely outcome, the three matches were all halved which meant that the result was decided on a tie break. In this league, a tie is settled by reference to the first game and then progressively down the startsheet. In the first threeball, Surrey won both and Bedfordshire beat Surrey. The result on the day was therefore that Surrey came third, Bedfordshire second and our U18 League Champions 2025 are BB&O.Â
Well done to the lads from BB&O on their victory and to the other players for having carried themselves so well.
