Having each won their respective leagues in the summer, teams of eight from Essex and Hampshire assembled at Northwood GC for the final of the SEG County League on 6th October.
A competitive final was expected. Hampshire produced a fine display to lead 3-1 after the morning foursomes. Despite a stronger performance in the afternoon, Essex was unable to overhaul the early Hampshire lead. Well done to the lads from Hampshire for their victory.
