Having each won their respective leagues in the summer, teams of eight from Essex and Hampshire assembled at Wensum Valley GC for the final of the SEG Challenge League on 13th October.
Essex held a slim lead after the morning foursomes but Hampshire overhauled that lead in the afternoon to produce a draw after the singles had been completed. Charlie Croker (Essex) and Sam Parsons (Hampshire) went back out for a sudden death play-off which Charlie won on the second play-off hole.
Well done to the lads from Essex for their victory.
